  • Very French marching band performs Daft Punk to our nonplussed president

Highlights of the trip so far have included the president appraising French first lady Brigitte Macron's body, being forced to eat a bunch of food he hates, and now, to cap the jaunt off, attending a military parade in honor of the holiday.

Yes, it's as tragic as it sounds.

The two members of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo, are known for always wearing costumes, including being dressed as robots and often collaborate with other artists.

Macron, meanwhile, appears to be the figure of Bastille Day joy - and is seen grinning throughout the performance.

Another said: "Do you think this visit was actually just so Macron could troll Trump and subliminally call him a "Daft Punk"?". Predictably, people freaked out about this on Twitter. As he watched the band let loose on "Get Lucky", Trump's face was jagged stone. But maybe the best part is when the older military dignitaries also recognize a song - "Get Lucky", n'est-ce pas? - and cannot for the life of them clap along to the beat.

His press secretary, Sean Spicer, may need to heed that advice. To judge from the reactions in the video, it's safe to say that his U.S. counterpart did not quite share in that feeling.
