"The video from Auto Zone will prove that Aaron was not in a moving vehicle while arrested and charged with a DUI". Aaron also alleges that police refused his right to an attorney.

Aaron was arrested Saturday night in Georgia on suspicion of driving under the influence and marijuana possession. Parker is charged with possession of marijuana less than one ounce, obstruction of law enforcement officers, and possession of drug-related objects.

The naturally thin singer opened up last year about his 2011 rehab stay at the Betty Ford Center. On Sunday afternoon, Aaron was released after paying $4,610, while Parker remained in prison. The "I Want Candy" singer seemed to feel the same and expressed this sentiment in the statement he released through his representative, rebuffing his older brother's messages.

Aaron, who is the younger brother of Backstreet Boy and Boy Band star Nick Carter, was also in possession of drug paraphernalia at the time of his arrest. Aaron, however, slammed the remark.

Aaron's replied to Nick's comment in a statement through his rep, saying, "If my own blood (Nick) truly cared about my well-being, why wouldn't he call me directly and have a conversation instead of making this about him through a very public forum?"

Hours before his arrest, the singer had tweeted that he would no longer be at the concert "due to transportation issues", and he apologised for letting his fans down.

Aaron Carter has slammed his brother Nick for tweeting after Aaron’s arrest on Saturday

Hey @aaroncarter have @itsmadisonp text me your new number since you changed it again!

Carter was a contestant on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" in 2009.

"Walk away from gossip and verbal defamation".

The lengthy statement concluded by thanking fans across the world for the prayers and support they have shown. Never allow yourself to be made a victim.

It's obviously annoying, like almost everything in one of his more recent photos. A week ago he tempted fate - or so it seems, in hindsight - when a videographer asked him for his thoughts on Shia LaBeouf's arrest in Georgia on a public drunkenness charge.
